As you can see from the images below, this kitchen is a typical in-frame Shaker style. A frame is attached to the front of a cabinet to hide the front edges of it. The doors and drawer fronts sit and open within the frames and the cabinets are fitted with special hinges and drawer fronts to suit. The hinges are often visible when the door is shut. This is a feature of traditional cabinetry inspired from the early 1900s but this style is now adapted to create more contemporary designs as seen here.
